The same keywords show different results for mobile and desktop and are counted as separate keywords.

The location can’t be changed because it alters keyword positions and search volumes. So for new location, create new location specific tracking.

YOu can also ask monthly or weekly reports on rank tracking delivered rightto your email id.

Here’s more detail around the process of keyword tracking and analysis.

The interface is easy to understand. The most important metrics in this order.

  • Rank: This denotes the domain’s ranking for a particular keyword on a specific day.
  • Change: The change documents the change in position during this time frame. The up arrow shows an increase in rankings and down arrow shows decrease in rankings.
  • Avg.: Shows average position during the period
  • Search: indicates the search volume
  • EV: shows the estimated traffic to the domain based on the current ranking.

These parameters give you info around performance for a set of keywords. There can be significant tracking and you can use the same strategy to fuel more rankings.

If you see decline in rankings, analyze what may have caused the drop.

Keyword Filters in SERPWatcher

Use filters when thinking of keywords.

Tags help you manage a group of keywords. You can see the marketing tag for certain keywords and so on.

You can adjust the PI according to the date.s

Below the PI chart you can see keywords that are top gainers and losers.

Estimated Visits (EV)

You also get the estimated visits tab that shows the total organic traffic coming to the site fro the tracked keywords.
